Why Did you Start the Company?

Andy and I started the company because we wanted a place for members to come read interesting articles about whatever interests them, be able to discuss a variety of topics in the forums, and buy something related to their passion.  I also wanted to create a fun, always interesting place to work.

Why Did you locate the company in the Northwest?

If you have ever been to the Pacific Northwest, specifically the beautiful city of Bellingham, you would know why we located the company here…it is truly an amazing place sitting between the Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains…it just feels like home.If you ever make it to Bellingham come stop by the office!!

What is your goal for the Company?

We want to create active communities, get even better articles, and grow our product offerings.

Cool Things happening in 2009?

Besides launching as many communities as possible? We have a cool web 2.0 application being built, which we hope to launch by the end of 2009…check back in December to see what the application does!

What do you do in your Spare time?

I have a beautiful wife which I try to spend as much time as possible with…luckily she helps around the office, so I get to see her a most of the day.Also, during the winter you might be able to catch me skiing down North Face @ Mount Baker or during the summer hitting the links at Avalon.

Why did you chose Andy as your business partner?

Well Andy loves programming, and I wanted to build a website. I have known Andy since college and he is one of the smartest, most ambitious people I have ever met. I knew starting this company would take a lot of courage, determination, ambition and intelligence….it only made sense to partner with him.
